The Way it Is

Everything is predetermined. There's nothing you can do but accept it.

A New Perspective

It’s amazing how many things we take for granted in our lives. In my own: a washing machine, a fridge and physically able parents. Recently, all of these things have gone bad. First the washing machine, which we replaced a couple of weeks ago, now the fridge. We have all our food in coolers and at neighbor’s houses. I imagine it’s a good way to lose weight because I am not eating very much as it is too much work to go outside to the coolers. My mom has a bad shoulder and my dad a bad back, which means I am now the heavy lifter in the house. Laundry, dishes, errands, picking up a borrowed mini-fridge from our neighbors, etc. I’m two parents in one. Yippee. I will never look at these things the same way again. My light bulb just blew, time to change it.
