The Way it Is
Everything is predetermined. There's nothing you can do but accept it.
Today at swim practice this little girl heard my name and then got really excited. She said, “Oh, you’re the one my brother always talks about.” My coaches laughed and I tried to change the subject. It was so awkward and hilarious. Little siblings are annoying in general. Especially mine, though. She told me about her day today and how they had a dance at school. Apparently one of the girls was grinding on another girl (middle schoolers grind!??). My sister asked her why she was grinding on a girl and told her it was disgusting. Then the girl apparently slapped my sister. Wow, 6th grade drama is ridiculous.
